2008 has been an exciting year so far for NutriSciences with a selection of new clients and increased media attention. Over the year NutriSciences have been invited to present as keynote speakers at some of the most prestigious events in the food and beverage industry.
In June Nutrisciences Head of European Regulatory Affairs, Dr Robert Child gave a presentation at the Food Protein Innovation 2008 conference in Rotterdam (Netherlands). Dr Childs talk covered the importance of proteins in sports nutrition and the issues related to their integration in product formulations.
This talk was then followed in October by the Nutrition & Health Claims Europe 3rd Interactive Workshop, held at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel Brussels, Belgium. Providing the Keynote thematic lecture on Borderline Issues in Sports Nutrition and Weight Loss Products, Dr. Child provided a detailed overview of the regulations involved in sports nutrition and weight loss products in Europe and the UK. Citing examples of NutriSciences regulatory experiences the presentation was a great success with many new contacts and colleagues made. Look out for team NutriSciences in 2009.
